When customers first approach QuanVol, they tend to ask the same few things: what you do, which products you offer, where the technology comes from, and how pricing is quoted. Here are our standard answers, saving everyone a round of back and forth.
What does QuanVol do?
QuanVol operatesFour business lines, all sharing one field-driven solid-state battery technology platform.1. Which products do you offer?
Seven product lines organized by application: 3C consumer battery、Drone battery、Low-speed light electric vehicle battery (two-wheelers, three-wheelers, high-speed electric motorcycles, and others), Robot and AGV power battery、Premium power tool battery、Energy storage battery、Standard cylindrical battery. Each product line contains multiple specific models, and specifications and data are independent for each model. There is no single set of QuanVol parameters. Model selection is determined by your application and parameter requirements.
Where does your technology come from?
The QuanVol technology system is our own, namely the field-driven solid-state battery technology route, supported by field-driven functional coating separators and a composite solid-state electrolyte material system. QuanVol takes unified responsibility for quality standards from materials to finished products. Do you sell materials?
Yes. QuanVol supplies two critical materials: Field-driven functional coating separator and Composite solid-state electrolyte. They are both the source of QuanVol solid-state cell performance and supplied separately to cell makers. An existing liquid-electrolyte line upgrades by switching materials with light equipment modification and no new plant. Supply form is roll, powder or slurry, confirmed against your line specifications and process route. See Field-driven materials business。
Which route is your electrolyte, oxide or sulfide?
None of them on its own. QuanVol works through Composite solid-state electrolyteWe are not tied to a single oxide, sulfide or polymer route; we work through field-driven interface matching. Oxide, polymer and sulfide solid-state systems as well as liquid upgrade systems are all compatible. Tell us your current system and we will provide a matching plan.
Do you offer technology output? Is that the same as technology licensing?
QuanVol providesField-driven solid-state battery technology output, but what we deliver is not a drawing or a license. It is a complete, executable production line upgrade plan: line fit assessment, material matching plan, process parameter package, retrofit proposal, validation and data alignment, quality system and certification, staff training and on-site support through trial production. The core point in one sentence: an existing liquid-electrolyte lithium battery line upgrades by switching materials with light equipment modification, with no new plant and no teardown. I am a cell maker with a production line. How do we work together?
Yes. Cell or battery makers with a lithium battery line who want to move into solid-state or semi-solid-state can start from Material samples or Production line fit assessmentStart here. QuanVol provides materials, technology and order coordination: you bring the line, we bring materials, technology and orders. The main line is retained and upgrades by switching materials with light equipment modification. Partnership models include material supply, technology output, product collaboration and joint development; see Cell-maker partnership。
Do you have your own production base?
QuanVol is a technology brand and product supplier. The technology system, material system, quality standards, and quality responsibility all sit with QuanVol. Products are manufactured according to QuanVol's technology system and quality standards, and we take full responsibility for the performance and safety of every product we deliver.
Who manufactures your cells?
Specific manufacturing information relates to our supply chain arrangements and can be disclosed on a targeted basis after a confidentiality agreement is signed. The more important basis for your assessment is measured product data and our quality responsibility, both of which QuanVol stands behind fully.
How is pricing quoted?
Quotes are provided on request according to the specific model and order quantityQuote on request, and prices are not disclosed through public channels. Send us your application, parameter requirements, and estimated volume, and we will include pricing with our proposal. This is the standard policy for all QuanVol customers.
Can data be used across different product lines?
No. 3C consumer, drone, low-speed light electric vehicle, and energy storage products have inherently different requirements for discharge rate, energy density, and cycle life. QuanVol does not publish a universal parameter table for the full range, and any performance figure cited externally states which product line and which model it belongs to. When customers request specific metrics, the datasheet for that model is the authoritative source.
Who is responsible if problems arise?
QuanVol takes full responsibility. Quality issues are led by QuanVol, so customers do not have to shuttle between suppliers themselves.
Will you share my requirements with other companies?
No. QuanVol keeps customer information and order information strictly confidential, and this is a clause every front-line employee must sign upon joining.
What services do you provide?
End-to-end service through the entire process: model selection, sampling, validation, volume delivery, and after-sales support. QuanVol owns this process so customers do not have to shuttle between suppliers. We also provide joint product definition and application fit for customer applications, so your new application can be developed alongside our product roadmap.
We need a new product category. Can you develop it with us?
Yes, and this is exactly what the custom productssecondary custom products line does. QuanVol product lines are organized by application and expand on a rolling basis with customer demand and new product validation. Development does not start from zero; it starts from the existing cell platform closest to your application and reuses the proven solid-state electrolytematerial system and production processes, which shortens timelines and reduces risk. Tell us the operating conditions, available space, and estimated volume for the new application, and we will evaluate it against QuanVol admission standards, provide samples, validate, and then add it to the product catalog.
Do QuanVol products carry a certification mark?
Yes. QuanVol Inside is the QuanVol product certification mark. Any product bearing it must meet QuanVol technical standards for performance and safety, and customers can use it as a basis for model selection.
